Minden Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) in Minden, LA, to provide expert nursing care and ensure patient safety within a vibrant team. The RN will work night shifts, focusing on maternal and infant care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have a current RN license in Louisiana and are encouraged to have at least one year of experience in Nursery/NICU/L&D. The position also provides extensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Competitive Salary.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• 1 year of experience in Nursery/NICU/L&D preferred.

Your Day as a Registered Nurse - RN

As a new RN at Minden Medical Center, you can expect to provide expert nursing care to patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and well‑being. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, creating and implementing care plans, and educating patients and their families. Working the night shift from 7 pm to 7 am, with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare services to our community.

What Matters Most

To excel in the role of RN at Minden Medical Center, candidates must possess a current RN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. While one year of experience in Nursery/NICU/L&D is preferred, those with a strong passion for maternal and infant care are encouraged to apply. Candidates should hold certifications in Fetal Heart Monitoring (preferred), CPR (required), and obtain NRP certification within 8 weeks of hire. Additionally, all RN staff will receive training to float between the labor unit, post‑partum/GYN floor, and the nursery.
