ZipStaff Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a dialysis assignment at the Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, FL. The contract covers October 28, 2026 through May 11, 2027, with a full-time local schedule of 10-hour days and a shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required are a minimum of 3 years in dialysis, an unrestricted RN license in the U.S., and AHA BLS/ACLS certs. ACEN/CCNE accreditation of the nursing program is mandatory for eligibility. Weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience providing hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis.
• Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS.
• RN degrees must meet ACEN/CCNE accreditation requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dialysis nursing care to patients with ESRD, AKI, and late-stage CKD.
• Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in acute and/or chronic care settings.
• Perform dialysis treatments using fistulas, grafts, and venous catheters.
• Assess and monitor patients throughout dialysis treatment.
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with unit policies and nursing standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical and dialysis treatment documentation.
• Coordinate care and safe transitions with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and advocacy.
• Participate in orientation, competencies, and quality-improvement activities.
• Provide clinical guidance and education to other healthcare providers as appropriate.

We are seeking experienced Dialysis RNs for a contract opportunity supporting the Miami VA Medical Center.

IMPORTANT VA EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

To be eligible for this VA assignment, all RN nursing degrees held by the candidate, regardless of degree level (ASN/ADN, BSN, MSN, etc.), must be from nursing programs that were ACEN or CCNE accredited at the time of graduation.

Position Details

Assignment: October 28, 2026 – May 11, 2027.
