Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Memphis is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver direct patient care, supervise nursing assistants, and help coordinate individualized care plans for residents. You will ensure safety, administer medications, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

• Current active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and exercise sound clinical judgment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physician or responsible party of any changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing.

How You Will Make a Difference

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
