Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3GH Surgical-Telemetry/Orthopedic-Neuro-Spine unit. This full-time night-shift role focuses on coordinating and delivering direct patient care in a 37-bed telemetry setting.

The RN will conduct rounds, support admissions and discharges, and provide education to patients and families, using evidence-based practices and critical thinking across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or ADN with ≥10 years of experience; if ADN, enrollment in BSN within 12 months and completion within 5 years.

(3GH)***Location:** Baptist Health Lexington **Schedule:** Full-time | 3rd Shift (Nights) | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week **About 3GH:**This unit is a37-bed telemetry/medical surgical unit specializing in but not limited to orthopedic/neuro/spine patients. The unit serves as a secondary stroke unit as well as general cardiac/telemetry patients. The patients are transferred from PACU, ED, interventional areas, and direct admissions from MD offices.**JOB SUMMARY**The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers compassionate, evidence-based care designed to support healing and wellness. In this role, you’ll coordinate, ensure, and provide direct patient care while creating an environment rooted in dignity, respect, and empathy. You will use your clinical expertise and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients across the lifespan.As a clinical nurse, you’ll spend the majority of your time (>50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care through:-Conducting nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments-Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges-Providing patient and family-centered education-Coordinating care and developing individualized treatment plans**REQUIREMENTS:**-Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky-Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college/university or an associate degree with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required.
