Holton Health Care Center in Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will assess residents’ health needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate treatment.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Kansas and has at least 1 year of experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess patients’ health needs and develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Document patients’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
