Job summary

TimberRidge Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality long-term and rehabilitative care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing plans, working with a supportive team in a patient-centered environment.

Join a facility that values teamwork, patient safety, and continuous education, with rotating shifts including holidays and weekends. Must hold an active Florida RN license and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a basic nursing education program.
• Minimum 1 year med/surg nursing in acute or long-term care (acute/critical care preferred).
• Current RN license in state of practice; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nursing care for long-term and rehabilitative patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per standards.
• Supervise and direct care by other nursing staff.
• Maintain documentation and equipment knowledge; protect patient rights.

Registered Nurse (RN ) Job Summary:

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Works using the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
• Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use (i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.).
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights, relating to all patient/resident/personnel information.
• Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as appropriate and/or directed.
• Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies.
• Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Registered Nurse (RN ) Required Education and Experience:

• Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting or long-term care setting (acute/critical care is preferred).
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice. Must have a reliable source of transportation.

The Registered Nurse ( RN ) is responsible to plan and deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
