Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, IA is seeking a staff nurse to join our friendly, caring team. You will help manage your assigned unit’s clinical staff and ensure residents receive an exceptional standard of care with guidance and education for the team.

Your experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and an unencumbered RN license (Iowa or compact state) are preferred. We value a positive, inclusive culture and reliable staffing to support residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a compact state.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and promote infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Foster a positive, inclusive facility culture and ensure staffing for resident needs.
• Ensure residents receive a high standard of care and adherence to infection prevention practices.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atBloomfield Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofIowa(or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
