Job summary

Sage Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Services in Baton Rouge is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, including post-surgical and general medical conditions. You will coordinate patient care, initiate and update plans of care, complete documentation timely, and provide orientation to staff while ensuring compliance with laws.

Requirements include Louisiana RN license, CPR certification, and a compassionate, time-managing approach.

Qualifications

• Louisiana RN license (current, unrestricted) is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Compassionate RN with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Shifts: Part-time and Every other Weekend

Duties:

• Deliver optimal patient care to patients requiring Skilled Nursing and/or rehabilitation nursing care for general medical and post-surgical conditions.
• Coordinate all aspects of patient care; initiates and updates the plan of care
• Completes all documents timely
• Provide orientation and in-service to staff/personnel
• Assure compliance with local, state and federal laws including problem resolution, complaint investigation

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Must have current CPR Certification
• Compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with great time management skills
