Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Turner Job Corps program. The RN provides clinical care to students, records vitals, administers medications, and maintains medical charts under the Health and Wellness Manager's supervision.

The role requires an active GA RN license with at least one year of experience; a drug screen and criminal background check are required. The job is hourly and non-exempt within a federally supported program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in medical care and treatment of students.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates; dress wounds and assist with student physicals.
• Administer specified medications and annotate times on charts.
• Assemble, sterilize and use medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintain charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.

Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $34.39

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse reports to the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a hourly, non-exempt position.
• Assists in the medical care and treatment of students.
• The Registered Nurse takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals.
• Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient's chart.
• The Registered Nurse assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies
• Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.

Qualifications

• State Registered Nurse's License and one year's experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Prefer 2+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
