Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking Registered Nurses across full-time, part-time, PRN, and a 12-week short-term contract to support patient recovery in our rehabilitation hospitals. We emphasize compassionate, individualized care and utilize cutting-edge technology to advance healing.

As a member of our team, you will supervise care, tailor plans, and build strong relationships with patients and families while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure coordinated care and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with departments to ensure coordinated care and direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
