Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rehab Unit to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The RN will advocate for patients and families, contribute to care planning, and participate in hospital initiatives to improve outcomes and experience. This is a full-time night shift position with opportunity for professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with ADN required.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Full-time Nights shift; 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• full-time Nights
• prefer a RN with at least 1 year of acute care experience
