Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the Skilled Nursing Facility at Community Hospital of Stokes in Danbury, NC. You will provide individualized care for short-term rehab and long-term residents, working 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. with weekend coverage.

Join an interdisciplinary team focused on recovery and quality of life. Required: RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute nursing experience. Preferred: BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• BLS through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• If RN license inactive >5 years and not licensed in another state in last 5 years, complete refresher course prior to reactivating.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor changes in resident condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in care planning, including MDS assessments.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff.
• Promote safe, high-quality care while complying with state, federal and CMS guidelines.
• Support rehabilitation, long-term care, palliative and end-of-life needs as appropriate.
