Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our rehabilitation team in Covington, Kentucky. You will provide individualized, compassionate care to patients recovering from injury or illness, assess needs, and support goal-directed rehabilitation.

This role emphasizes collaboration with therapists and physicians, patient-family communication, and leveraging advanced therapy technologies to drive meaningful recoveries.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
