Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westover Hills is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, compassionate care and support patients on their path to recovery in a rehabilitation setting.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, supervise care, and build strong relationships with patients and families to optimize outcomes. We value empathy, communication, and commitment to high-quality post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.

Education

RN license required

CPR certification

ACLS preferred

1 year rehab hospital experience preferred
