Job summary

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill, MA is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our nursing team on 12- or 8-hour shifts. Available shifts include 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am, and 3pm-11pm, with every-other-weekend requirements.

The position offers base pay of 40-45 USD per hour, with weekday differential of 8-11 and weekend differential 10-15. Prerequisites include MA RN license, BSN preferred, BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Current and active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of Critical Care and Med/Surg preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiologic response to interventions and report findings to the team.
• Provide patient-centered care with an individualized plan of care.
• Conduct patient rounds and report issues to nursing supervisor.
• Administer and document medications and treatments per best practices.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments on unit.
• Weekly skin assessments for condition and healing.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with regulations on the unit.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Managers and Director of Nursing.
