Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island seeks a Registered Nurse with ambulatory/urology experience to join our team. You will provide patient education, assist procedures, and support providers while maintaining sterile technique and accurate charting.
Requires Rhode Island RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred and 2–3 years of nursing experience. This role involves patient care across the continuum and may include precepting new staff and taking on charge nurse duties.

Works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Provides oversight of non-RN personnel on the assigned unit.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
2-3 years nursing experience, urology preferred. Recent ambulatory/medical office experience preferred. Proficient in use of computer software to include electronic patient records. Must have ability to use internet for literature searches regarding care for patients.
Valid State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse License, BLS required within one month.
Hospital and unit based orientation provided
Exposure to bodily fluids and biotherapy. Bending, carrying items < 25 pounds, sitting/on phone for longer periods of time.
