Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in the Pulmonary department. The role requires an associate degree or higher in nursing, with a BSN to be completed within five years of hire.

Active KY RN license or eligibility is required, plus BLS within 45 days. The RN will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and support discharge planning while educating patients and families as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Nursing is required upon hire, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years of employment.
  • RN must be licensed in Kentucky or eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

Job Summary
