Job summary

Indiana University Health in Lafayette is seeking an Ambulatory RN to join the Pulmonary team. You will support outpatient care with a Monday–Friday day shift, focusing on patient triage, refills, vaccinations and other nurse-led activities in a collaborative setting.

You will work with physicians and APPs to provide high-quality care, participate in ongoing education, and grow your clinical pulmonary expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
