Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a flagship hospital of Methodist Health System, seeks an experienced registered nurse for night shift. You will provide high-level nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process and supervise team members in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program, with BLS current and Texas licensure or eligibility. At least 1 year of L&D RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification on file.
• Current additional certifications as required by department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: at least 1 year L&D RN experience.

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
