IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie, IN is seeking experienced RNs for part-time and full-time positions on the adult oncology progressive care unit. Shifts include days with every third weekend and holiday rotation, and a $30,000 sign-on bonus is available through 9/30/2026.

This role offers referral eligibility and a supportive team focused on high-quality patient care. Our unit provides care for hospice/end-of-life, cancer, COPD, and other acute conditions, with an emphasis on continuity,

Qualifications

• RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Indiana RN license or NLC RN license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Ball Memorial’s adult oncology progressive care unit is a 25-bed unit specializes in the care of hospice/end of life care, cancer patients, patients with COPD, and those with weakness due to acute disease. This unit is one of our hospitals TBAAM (Team Based Acuity Adaptable Model) units. This model consists of an interdisciplinary team that rounds daily with the clinical nurse to provide better continuity of care for our patients.

Nursing skills gained on this unit:

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
