HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, focusing on pre- and post-operative nursing support.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, documenting care, and staying current on cardiac and medical-surgical procedures. ACLS/BLS certifications are required within specified timelines.

Competenze

• Must hold active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or must be obtained within stated timelines.
• Experience in Progressive Care is a plus but not required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
