AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in a high-acuity unit. You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor outcomes while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork. Applicants should be proficient with EMR systems (Cerner/EPIC) and commit to ongoing professional development within a faith-based health system.

Formación

• RN licensure required
• Associate degree in Nursing or higher
• Strong critical care knowledge and experience preferred

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
