Job summary

Cooper University Health Care seeks a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive bedside care within the Cape Regional system. The role emphasizes the nursing process, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an NLN-accredited nursing degree, NJ-RN license, and current BLS certification, with ACLS within 3 months and CC course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Experience Required

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.

Education Requirements

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).

Current American Heart Association, (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required.

ACLS(Advanced Cardiac Life Support)within 3 months of hire and Critical Care course within 6 months of hire.
