Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Night Shift RN II for the 6 VP Progressive Care unit. You will provide professional nursing care per hospital policy, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and act as charge nurse as assigned.

The role requires NC RN licensure or compact, an ASN, and preferred BSN; strong communication and teamwork; ability to respond to emergencies and coordinate with interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and plan appropriate nursing interventions.
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve desired outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects as ordered by physician.
• Maintain accurate and relevant patient records and documentation.
• Establish collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary health care teams.
• Provide leadership as assigned and support unit charge nurse responsibilities.
