Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a PRN registered nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care for assigned patients. You will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate care.

The role requires two years ICU/ER RN experience, Texas RN license or eligibility, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. This is a 7a-7p shift with 3 shifts per week and weekend requirements, at a Magnet-designated hospital with renowned

• Two (2) experience in specialty required
• Three (3) shifts per week
• Six (6) weekend shifts per 6-week schedule according to unit guidelines
• Three (3) MHS recognized holidays per calendar year
• Position is not eligible for merit increases, benefits, tuition reimbursement or Clinical Advancement Program (CAP)
• Position is eligible for specialty certification reimbursement per MHS

Your Job:

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least two years ICU and ER RN experience
