Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver high-level nursing care across ICU/ER settings. You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs in alignment with unit standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), active Texas nursing license, BLS and ACLS, and at least two years ICU/ER experience.

Competenze

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
Two years ICU and ER RN experience.

PRN Tier 4 Requirements

Two (2) years’ experience in specialty required
Three (3) shifts per week
Six (6) weekend shifts per 6-week schedule according to unit guidelines
Three (3) MHS recognized holidays per calendar year
Position is not eligible for merit increases, benefits, tuition reimbursement or Clinical Advancement Program (CAP)
Position is eligible for specialty certification reimbursement per MHS

Your Job

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Current additional certifications as required by department
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
Work experience: at least two years ICU and ER RN experience
