Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse for NICU care. You will render professional nursing services, perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, and align with the hospital's mission and strategic goals.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, IV administration, and collaboration with families and healthcare teams. PRN shifts include 7A-7P or 7P-7A, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Current Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
• At least 1 year of NICU RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by using communication, interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/educational process.
• Communicates with team, patients and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Provides safe, therapeutic environments and accurate, timely medication administration including IVs.
• Uses the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year of applicable NICU RN experience

IV administration.

and development.

Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the

episode of care.

Other duties as assigned.
