Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality nursing care across the patient care continuum. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS certification, Texas nursing license or eligibility, and at least 12 months RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• 12 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment and strong teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates to the team, patients and family and evaluates understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Delivers medication and IV administration safely and timely.
• Understands and participates in the ongoing professional growth and development of self and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
