Concentra is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for a client site in Mulberry, FL to support employee health, wellness, and safety. Primary duties include patient care assistance, specimen collection, urine drug screens, and front-office tasks.

The role requires an active RN license, documentation accuracy, and the ability to work with flexibility in a fast-paced clinic environment. This is a as-needed, M-F daytime schedule with patient-centered care and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Continuing education to maintain license and practice
  • Current state RN license/registration
  • Occupational health nursing experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist practitioners with patient care, exams and tests; prepare exam rooms and documentation

Position Summary

Position Summary
Concentra is looking for a PRN (as-needed) Registered Nurse for our client's site in Mulberry, FL! This is a great opportunity to work with employee health, wellness, and safety!
Coverage (as-needed): As-needed: M-F 7:00am-3:00pm
Assists practitioners with patient care, physical examinations, ancillary tests, and performs a variety of administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Escorts patients to exam room, prepares patients for examination and treatment and assists the practitioner, as requested
  • Draws blood and prepares appropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-up
  • Performs urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensures preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory
  • Maintains exam rooms, lab area and treatment rooms clean and stocked, maintaining inventory of supplies and re-orders as needed
  • Assists in medical record maintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program records onsite, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information
  • Perform front office clerical duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out and record processing
  • Dispenses medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance with state regulations
  • Maintains and operates all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
  • Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director ( PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) in accordance with established policies and procedures
