Medcor is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN/as-needed onsite health nurse role in Clinton, IA. The clinic handles basic primary and urgent care, injuries, and workers' compensation-related tasks. You will work within regular clinic hours, providing hands-on nursing care and coordinating with outside providers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment, treatment, and follow-up care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Provide basic primary and urgent care services within the onsite clinic.
• Evaluate employees and guide care using evidence-based protocols.
• Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care when appropriate.
• Support workers' compensation case management and treatment plan monitoring.
• Assist with Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.
• Coordinate care with outside medical providers when needed.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Support daily operations of the onsite clinic.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and client stakeholders.
• Support OSHA recordkeeping and other required documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with employees, client partners, and Medcor team.
• Follow established clinical, operational, and compliance processes.

Medcor is looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN/as-needed basis to serve as an Onsite Health Nurse in our employer-based clinic in Clinton, IA.

This clinic provides basic primary care and urgent care services in addition to the assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses, giving you the opportunity to use a broad range of your nursing skills in an onsite clinical environment.

Please note: This is a PRN/as-needed position with no guaranteed hours. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am–5:00pm. If you have weekday availability and are interested in picking up occasional shifts, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on patient care while supporting workers' compensation case management, Return-to-Work programs, employee health initiatives, and the daily operations of the onsite clinic. You'll also collaborate with Medcor leadership, client stakeholders, and outside medical providers to help ensure employees receive appropriate and timely care.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Medcor Onsite Health Nurse

Clinical Care & Injury Management

Provide nursing assessment, treatment, and follow-up care for workplace injuries and illnesses

Provide basic primary and urgent care services within the scope of the onsite clinic

Evaluate employees and guide care using Medcor's evidence-based treatment protocols

Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care when appropriate

Support workers' compensation case management and treatment plan monitoring

Assist with Return-to-Work (RTW) programs

Coordinate care with outside medical providers when needed

Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings

What You'll Need
