Job summary

Atherton Endoscopy Center, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem OR coverage at Atherton Endoscopy Center in California. The RN will position, prep, and circulate for surgical cases, delivering patient-centered care and maintaining infection control standards.

The role requires weekday coverage only, with no holidays, weekends, or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate RN School of Nursing is required.
• Active RN license in the state is required.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient during surgery.
• Prep the patient for the procedure.
• Circulate the case and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem at Atherton Endoscopy Center

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Pay Range: $44- $66/hr
