Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse Pool for the Med/Surg units at Skokie Hospital in Skokie, IL. This full-time night shift (36 hours/week) requires IL licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, and BLS/CPR.

A minimum of one year of direct patient care is required. You will use the nursing process, guide assigned UAPs, and collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, compassionate care and positive patient experiences across Glenbrook Hospital facilities.

Qualifications

  • IL nursing license is required.
  • Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS/CPR certification required for healthcare providers.
  • Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective nursing care on Med/Surg units across Skokie Hospital.
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
