Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a specific patient population within an interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on expanding knowledge, delivering direct patient care, and coordinating care with physicians and support services.

Candidates should have a BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years, and six months of RN experience or Nurse Residency participation.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, with accountability, teamwork, ongoing education and patient-focused care.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. (Note this applies to team members hired on or after November 2019).
• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
