Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse - PICU for a hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time nights position offers 36 hours per week and a shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 per hour, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 18 months PICU experience. IL RN license and PICU experience required.

PALS within three months; duties include patient assessments, care planning, discharge coordination.

Qualifications

• IL RN license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• 2 years PICU experience required from a tertiary center.
• PALS required within three months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments based on observation, patient/family interview, input from other health care providers and other pertinent data.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers to establish plan of care and measure outcomes.
• Plan and coordinate patient discharge or transfer throughout the patient’s course of treatment.

Title: Registered Nurse - PICU

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Pediatrics - ICU

Location: Naperville, IL

Schedule: Full Time, Nights 7:00PM-7:30AM, 36 hrs/wk, rotating weekends and holidays

Pay: $36.00 - $55.80/hr depending on years of relevant and like experience. Plus, $25,000 Sign on Bonus for candidates with 18 months of PICU experience!

Duties

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments based on observation, patient/family interview, input from other health care providers and other pertinent data
• Collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers to establish plan of care and measure outcomes
• Plan and coordinate patient discharge or transfer throughout the patient’s course of treatment. As needed, includes other members of the health care team in planning patient discharges

Requirements
