Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking a PACU Nurse to join our 35-bed recovery unit supporting the Operating Room. You will care for a diverse patient population, both inpatient and outpatient, with emphasis on post-anesthesia recovery in a level 1 trauma center. RNs with critical care experience are favored.

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by Vermont is required; ADN is required, BSN preferred. On-call is required.

• Provide care to a diverse inpatient and outpatient population in a 35-bed PACU recovery unit.
• Support the Operating Room as a PACU nurse in a level 1 trauma center.

Unit Description

As a PACU Nurse in our 35-bay recovery unit supporting the Operating Room, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a variety of conditions who are both inpatient and outpatient. As we are a level 1 trauma center, we see patients for surgeries within all service lines. Experience as an RN in critical care preferred.
