Job summary

Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) for day and night shifts in our 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations to prevent complications and restore optimal function, while upholding the hospital's mission and infection control standards.

Required: active RN license in Wisconsin, current CPR, and accredited RN program completion; BSN preferred; ACLS

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• Current CPR Certification.
• One year recent acute care experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.

Weekend Days - $7/hr. differential

Weekday Nights - $7/hr. differential

Weekend Nights - $10/hr. differential

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
