Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care seeks a PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings. You will assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, manage cardiac rhythms, administer medications and IV therapies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely care.

The role offers flexible shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) on a per diem basis with the option to work as little as one shift per month and daily or weekly pay options,

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU experience in the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials as required.

Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings, including assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; managing cardiac rhythms; administering medications and IV therapies; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining accurate medical records; adhering to infection control and safety standards; educating patients and families; and adapting to various hospital units.

Qualifications & Skills: Active Virginia RN License; at least 2 years of recent PCU experience within the past 4 years; current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption; additional credentials as required.
