Job summary

Fort Lauderdale Health & Rehabilitation Center seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, educate patients to promote independence and wellness, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates plans of care for patients
• Provides and/or delegates patient care according to the plan of care and established protocols
• Documents patient care on all appropriate forms
• Provides patient education to promote independence and wellness
• Participates in Quality Improvement processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participates in unit staff meetings and unit-based clinical conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices
• Represents the clinical unit on committees and submits annual records of continuing education and self-assessment of clinical performance
• Performs the responsibilities of charge nurse and preceptor as assigned
• Performs related duties as required
