Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse to support flexible contract or travel assignments. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care for pediatric patients, from pre-op assessment and family education to intraoperative monitoring and post-anesthesia recovery.

You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team, ensuring safety, sterility, and adherence to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Active US RN license required.
• Pediatric operating room experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care from pre-op to post-anesthesia recovery for pediatric patients.
• Educate families and prepare for anesthesia and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safety and sterility.
