Job summary

Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a closed pediatric ventilator unit. You will supervise staff and direct care planning per unit policies and procedures.

Requirements include 1-2 years of facility-based pediatric acute care, graduation from an accredited RN program, and an active VA RN license. 12-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years facility-based experience in pediatric acute care is required.
• Graduation from an accredited program for registered nurses (RN).
• VA State-issued license must be current and unencumbered.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a closed pediatric ventilator unit.
• Supervise co-workers in the implementation of patient care and care planning.
• RNs may accompany residents/patients on trips and outings outside the hospital.

The Pediatric Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates and supervises patient care on a closed pediatric ventilator unit according to unit policies and procedures. Accepts responsibility of charge for direction of co-workers in the implementation of patient care and care planning. RN’s may be required to accompany residents/patients on trips and outings, outside the Hospital.

• 1-2 years facility-based experience in pediatric acute care required.
• Vent experience preferred, but not required.

RN (Registered Nurse) Educational Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited program for registered nurses.
• VA State-issued (current and unencumbered) license.
