Job summary

ERP International is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Pediatrics Clinic at Langley AFB. The ideal candidate will hold a BSN from an NLNAC/CCNE-accredited program, maintain an active RN license, and have BLS certification.

The RN will coordinate patient care with a broad health care team, perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and contribute to education and preventive care in a military setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NLNAC/CCNE-accredited program.
• 1 year of nursing experience after graduation.
• Current, active RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Ability to pass Government background check/security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with a wide healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and policies in the MTF.
• Perform nursing assessments and health histories.
• Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications and wound care as prescribed.
• Supervise care provided by other clinicians.

Work Schedule:

Duty Hours:

Work schedule shall be betweenMonday - Friday, 8 hours between 7:30 am and 4:30 pmto include a one-hour uncompensated meal break as determined by the clinical department.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following;

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
• Perform physical exam and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

*** Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). .

*** Experience:** One year of experience in nursing as identified in the TO after graduation.

*** Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required in the TO.

*** Life Support Certification:** Possess and maintain a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

*** Security:** Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
