Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The role involves evidence-based nursing practices, patient education, and collaborative care across disciplines.

The candidate must hold a current NJ nursing license, with BLS/CPR, ACLS, and 2 years of Pedi/PICU/NICU experience. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS required.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and healthcare team about patient status and plans.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safe delivery.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments and plans of care.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multidisciplinary discharge planning for safe transition of care.

• Delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patients status, rendered care and treatment plans.
• Medication administration utilizing the newest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.

CompensationMinimum rate of $45.14 Hourly HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
