Incredible Health hospitals in the Washington, DC area are actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER. This role offers day, night and mid shifts with full-time, part-time and per diem options.

Qualifications include RN licensure, ADN or higher, BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred, and pediatric/ER experience. You will assess and treat urgent pediatric cases, monitor patients, and educate families while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans, and determine discharge or admission needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
