Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN status on the Progressive Care Unit. You will deliver individualized patient care and coordinate across disciplines to ensure safe, effective outcomes for cardiovascular and general medical-surgical patients.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, a BSN is preferred, and at least one year of acute-care RN experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse (RN) or active multistate RN license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or ARC). ACLS provider within first 12 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the care of the patient.
• Responsible for the care of medical and surgical patients.
• Serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
• Within the first year, gain basic clinical knowledge and skills for caring for cardiovascular patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse on the Progressive Care Unit, you will be joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will enable patients to reach their goals through care specifically designed to cater to individual patient needs, and also administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

What you will do in this role:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or ARC. ACLS provider card required within the first 12 months of hire, AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
• One year RN experience in acute care.
