Job summary

ND Global Consulting Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Rochester, New York. The role provides 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment.

The PCU has 12 beds with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. Candidates need at least 1 year of RN experience and must hold ACLS and BLS certifications. Local candidates living more than 75 miles from the facility are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license (registered) and ACLS/BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in PCU or similar setting.
• Willingness to work nights and every-other-weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Care and monitor PCU patients (DKA, respiratory needs, sepsis, ETOH withdrawal).
• Perform phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Operate CADDS and PCA pumps and manage ventilator/trach care as needed.

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Rochester, New York. This position offers 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The unit features 12 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience and be comfortable working weekends on an every-other-weekend schedule. Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. Key responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory needs including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen, ventilator and trach care, sepsis, and ETOH withdrawal. RNs must demonstrate competency in phlebotomy, IV placement, and operation of CADDS and PCA pumps. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
