• Can participate in the Preceptor class to ensure proper training of new employees.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, quality patient care using the nursing process and documents accordingly.
• Maintains effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and NMHS policies.
• Exercises leadership in prioritizing, delegating, and evaluating work assignments.
• Attends daily unit huddles to ensure proper assignments and identify team members for the shift.
• Maintains competency by staying informed of changing trends in nursing practice.
