Candidates must be licensed RNs, with strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills, capable of fast-paced, team-based care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adjust to diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partner with patient and family via rounds, teaching, and updates on goals of care.
• Practice according to current clinical standards and WellStar policies.
• Coordinate care and documentation of safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and participate in care planning with care managers.
