SEARHC in Southeast Alaska is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across the lifespan, following standards and evidence-based practice. The RN uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive, patient-centered services.

This role collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote patient outcomes, safety, and positive experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Case Management certification - preferred.
• Clinical competency required within 3 months and every 3 years.
• High Risk Competency required within 3 months and every year.

Aufgaben

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes and patient safety.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
• Floats to other departments or assignments as needed.
