Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to provide bedside care following SC Nurse Practice Act standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

You will educate patients and families, advocate for rights, and maintain regulatory compliance. BSN within five years and current SC or Compact state license are required; ACLS may be required in certain clinics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • BSN within five years of hire.
  • Current SC RN license (or Compact state) and BLS. ACLS as required for department.
  • Ability to assess patient data and plan care.
  • Knowledge of nursing standards and practice acts.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients holistically and document findings.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide patient education and resources.
  • Advocate for patient rights and safety.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and quality initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
