Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The RN will lead a care plan, delegate tasks, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Requires NJ RN license with 0-1 years' experience; associate degree required, bachelor preferred. Compensation ranges from $47.55 to $66.06 hourly plus comprehensive benefits; full-time positions with supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years’ experience required, 2-4 preferred
• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• NJ RN License required or as per policy

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
